A Special Thank You

Every once in a while I receive a special treat in the mail. I cannot tell you how special these gifts are to me. Thank you all so much! Click on any picture for a larger image.

This very special gift hangs in the office of Lonestar Farms, along side with other prize winning pictures I have taken. I guess Reegan didn't know just how special her picture is and will always be to me. I think she did a great job drawing, "Daisy" her new puppy, that she had only seen from an emailed picture. Reegan may have had a birthday by now, but she drew this when she was 6 years old. An aspiring young Artist! Thank you Reegan!

This glittering group of Angels, were given to me my a very lovely lady name Margo from Houston, Texas who bought her very special female Schnauzer, "Bonnet" from me. The angels are adorned with bells, stars, feathers and silky silver hair made of thread and mostly natural materials. Thank you so much Margo! I'll cherish them always.

Every gift means the world to me, no matter how simple or intricate it is. Check out this handmade carrying bag and makeup case. I would like to frame it, but I think I'm going to definitely use this and show it off. Andrea K. of Baton Rouge, LA sent this to me. You wouldn't believe how surprised I was to open it. I know you spent hours making this and all I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. The Keiths have bought two puppies from Lonestar Farms. Watch out Andrea, they are addicting!

What a jewel you are always thinking of others! Another gift from Margo of Houston, Texas. Doggie print and embroidered Kitchen/hand towels that are really nice and will be very much used. Schnauzer calendar and doggie bed (not shown). Thanks again Margo.

Wow! Sharing your collection with me. Another beautiful gift from Margo of Houston, Texas. When Margo visited Lonestar farms, she noticed my collection of Purple Slag glass. She unselfishly sent me one of her very own pieces, "Turtle on a nest". You can see it now along side some of my other pieces. You're the best Margo!

Sherry G. of Oklahoma writes;

Katherine, Annie was 1 year old Jan 2. We want to thank you for bringing us together as forever friends. We thought and Ann Taylor purse from Annie and Sherry was a good idea to remind you of the happy people and furbabies you've brought together.
Thank you.
Sherry and Annie G.

My note to Sherry and Annie;

You've touched my heart with your thoughtfulness. I'm so glad that Annie has brought sunshine to your life, as well as others. We all need a little sunshine! Thank you for the beautiful Ann Taylor (Loft) evening purse. Happy Birthday Annie!
Love ya,
Katherine Reed

Another gorgeous piece of purple Slag Glass for my collection, sent to me by Rosemary Guzikowski. Rosemary bought two puppies from me. "Neo" (Black/silver male from Cami & Alex) and "Madison" (White female from Cookie & Amos).

This Schnauzer statue almost looks like a real puppy. This beautiful statue was given to me by my friend Kathy W. of Huntsville, Tx. Thank you soooo much Kathy.

Jeffery and I would like to thank you, Kathleen Lyon of Alberquerque, NM. Not only for the purchase of your teacup Black/silver female Schnauzer, but for the Cranberry and Pumpkin breads and also for our little stuffed Schnauzer friend. You barely made it out of our driveway and we had the cake cut. Oh my gosh!!!! Wonderful!!! Mmmmm... good...

Words cannot describe my heart felt thanks for your
thoughtfulness...

Pictured are only a few of the gifts that Mrs Snow sent me. Pictured is a Willow Tree; intimate line of fugurative sculptures that speak in quiet ways to heal, comfort, protect and inspire. This one entitled, "Angel of the Heart". Also a book; titled "90 Minutes In Heaven". A true story of Death and Life.

Judy writes a note in the book to me that says:

Dear Katherine, Words cannot express how happy and excited we are to receive into our lives & hearts this precious puppy! I promise you he will be treated like a prince that he already is! A kiss to little Miss Paiton, "The Princess". I will let you know his name when god tells me!
Sincerely,
The Snows'
November 2007

The Princess, "Paiton", that Judy speaks about is my Granddaughter. Judy also sent Paiton a little book of "Bethlehem" and an Advent Calendar (this depicts the 25 days before the birth of Christ).

Thank you so much!
