Dearest Katherine:

Been awhile since we talked, but since Precious has arrived, my time is actually taken up by her. She is sooooo precious and every day is a new challenge.

She is 5 3/4 mos old now, and weighs in at 5.8 lbs. She has recently had an adult cut, but believe I will go back to the type you did as she "fits into it better".

Enclosing some random shots of her at play. Do take her to "Doggy Day Care" as I have no other pets around us and she loves being with them. Love to totally spoil her, but have to remember that when she's grown it won't be cute to do some of her antics. Of course she is the rave of everyone at lays eyes on her, and when viewing her pictures the words the utter are "isn't she precious". So guess the name was meant to be.

I can never thank you enough so this wonderful little "BLESSING" in my life. You have done some real fine work at selecting mates to produce such good tempered, beautiful coats and angels. Will keep in touch, we might need a playmate in the future.

Hello again. A quick update on my dear Precious that you provided. She is a very healthy, active, adorable pup with the most beautiful fur. Everywhere she goes, people are in awe at her beauty and friendliness. Their first words when seeing her are "oh my gosh she is precious". We almost caused a traffic jam at the pet shop as people would not leave her alone. And to top it off she loves children and big playmates, and is not spoiled.

Her favorite friend is a Golden Retriever. Hope you don't mind me boasting about her so much. She is the epitome of all Schnauzers. Thanks to you and your excellent breeding and handling. Will keep in touch for the future little sister.

UPDATE FROM ROBERTA: MORE PRECIOUS!

Hi Katherine!

Here's our Lonestar Farms - Itsy Bitsy Mitzi (parents are Gentri and Biscuit). Considering I had never purchased a puppy via the Internet I was a bit skeptical about the whole process, but Katherine set my mind at ease answering all my questions. Being from Pennsylvania, I was shocked at such an easy process the delivery was. I picked Mitzi up at the Philadelphia International Airport from one of Katherine's helpers who hand-delivered her. They had a long day of plane rides, as it was Memorial Day weekend, but made it with no problems! I really appreciate the love and care she received on the trip! Since being here, she has adjusted extremely well to her new permanent home and just loves her big brother, Spooky. They just play all the time. She is a very well adjusted socialized puppy. She is just the sweetest little girl in the world. We LOVE her to no end! Thank you so much Katherine! I will certainly keep you posted on her progress! We couldn't be happier with her and the whole process with Lonestar Farms.

We purchased our sweet little angel in July 2001. She is now 3 1/2 years old and is a wonderful dog. She is our first schnauzer and she has stolen our hearts. Just a short note to let you know that Jake is doing great. He seems to have adjusted to his new home here in Baton Rouge just fine. We are so pleased with him and love every inch of him to the core. He has been a wonderful blessing for me and helped us through the loss of our little Fritz. Maybe it is just us, but he has done a few little things that remind us of Fritz. He is a ball of energy, which is good, it keeps our thoughts and minds busy. He has learned that he can bark and the first time he did that was on Sunday. Even Sadie our 10 year old has accepted him. He has lifted her spirits and she does not seem as depressed and down as she did. He tries to keep up with Sadie and wants her to accept him. Sadie has started playing with him some and then he will follow her where ever she goes. He stays busy with toys all over the house, too. One would think we have a toddler living here with all the toys laying around.

I think Jake will be his name, as nothing else seems to fit at the moment and he seems to answer to that. He is a wonderful snuggler in bed. I know that is not what should happen, but yes, he is still sleeping with us at night. He likes to sleep close, beside your ears or your neck and I like that a lot. Neither Sadie or Fritz did that, and we always wanted them to.

We just want to thank you for everything and I'm thankful that I found your kennel. You will never know how much we appreciate you and that you had the right puppy for us, he is a wonderful blessing and gift and came at the right time.

Hope all is well with you and your family. We also want to commend you again on the professionalism you have with your kennel and how you maintain it. It means a lot to see the parents and everything else as we were not able to do that with Fritz. Your kennel displays a lot of caring, love and hard work and you and your husband are to be commended for that. Again, thank you for everything, and we will be in touch with you soon. Dear Katherine,

Just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for my precious CoCo. I wanted to let everyone know about our story.

We live in Michigan, but wanted to see just what the teacup sized Schnauzers looked like, since I had a deposit down for one. We drove down to see for ourselves and believe me, they are very tiny and beautiful. Our baby, "CoCo" is now 5 months old and weighs 5 lbs. He is so smart! He has learned to do tricks and loves my grandkids.

I am a diabetic and since CoCo sleeps with me, he knows when I am having a reaction and he keeps licking me, until I come around. My husband, Jerry, is ever so grateful for little CoCo's part in alarming him over my condition.

I wanted to express my gratitude for such a wonderful little boy, who is a BIG part of our family.

Thank you so much for this great little guy.

Hi Katherine,   It has been such a long time since we've corresponded. I wanted to give you an update on my wonderful puppies, Lola and Lucy.   Of course, they are adorable and I love them to death.  I can't believe they're 7 month old now.  Lucy (gray) is smart and just as sweet as pie.  Lola (white) is soooo naughty.  Her personality is mischeivious but she is just a little peanut, I can never stay mad at her.  They are both so cute that I can't go anywhere without people stopping me to give them a hug or pet.   The attached pictures have a great story.  I was having my landscaping redone and rather than just board them while my fence was torn down and my yard completely demolished, I decided to send them to a training camp.  Well, everyone there adored them so much that they asked me if Lola and Lucy could be put in their 2009 calendar.  I took them to a photo shoot and the attached pictures are just a sampling of all the adorable ones that were taken.  I should be receiving several of the calendars in the next couple of weeks so I will be sure to send you one.  By the way, the training camp typically trains much bigger dogs than Lola and Lucy and initially I felt a little bit of tension from their trainer.  Well, by the end of their training she was telling me that she was going to suggest schnauzers to some of her clients.    Thank you so much for raising such beautiful dogs!   Linda Vuylsteke   P.S.  My vet says that you did a wonderful job too!

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know Dusty is doing great. Dusty is almost five months old. She did great having her ears cropped a couple months ago. The vet that cropped her ears commented on what a fine dog she is and his technician loved her colors. Dusty is a wonderful loving and beautiful addition to our family. Her mother is Gretchen and father is Champ. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a schnauzer your puppies.

This is Gidget, our black & silver girl. Her parents are Roxy & Bucky. She weighs 11-12lbs. She has brought so much joy to our family and we love her dearly. She has been so much fun. She absolutely loves her toys and is so smart, she knows each one of them by name. It is so easy to teach her new things. Our Vets office staff thinks she is the cutest girl and she always gets GOLD STARS for her health.

I guess you can say that we special ordered her. We went to the farm and picked out the parents that we wanted our Gidget to come from, long before she was ever born. After the puppies were born, Katherine kept us up to date on her weight and sent us pictures via internet as she developed. We visited again when Gidget was 3 weeks old. We wouldn't take anything for our Gidget.

Kathy, Daisy, litter of Gretchen and Champ, is now 1yr 4 months old. She weighs 8.5 lbs. Freckles, litter of Jewel and Champ, is now 4 1/2 months old. She weighs 5 lbs. These two half sisters are best friends! They live next door to each other and have their regular playtime every evening. They are full of energy and will play for hours until it's time for one of them to go home. It's a constant wrestling match or race around the kitchen and living room. Daisy was very receptive to having a new puppy around and gladly taught Freckles new things. Freckles is older now, and she is returning the favor. Problem? Sometimes, they teach the onerey things to one another..such as how to dig through laundry baskets looking for underwear to play with. But this just makes them all the more fun and entertaining to be around. We wouldn't trade them in for anything! Video footage coming soon!

This is "Miller" son of Suzie Q and Champ. We got Miller in August 2005 and is the greatest thing in the world... At first my husband and I fought over the fact of having a dog. He wanted to wait and I did not so I figured a way that would get him to say "yes". You see, when he was little he had a salt and pepper mini schnauzer and he said that they were the best dog you could get, but the problem was that I wanted a small dog and I remembered that his dog was like 15lbs.

Well then I found Lonestar Farms online I was so delighted. When I brought the picture home from work to show him what they looked like and how small he would be ...HE said yes. Now we are just so happy with our "Miller". He weighs in at 6lbs. and will be six months in December, 2005. He is healthy and loves to play fetch and sleep between "mommy" and "daddy" in bed. Dear Katherine,

Daisy is doing great. She now weights 6 1/2 lbs. Has the attitude of a much larger dog, and is not the least bit spoiled!! Since we own a Farm & Home store, she usually makes her Saturday morning trip to visit all of the employees, and anyone else who will accept all of her kisses she wants to give out. She loves to ride, and take walks, and if you ask her I she wants to "go" she heads right to the top of the steps and waits. She is definitely a pleasure to have as part of the family. I just wanted to write and give an update on the puppy that we adopted from you last weekend. We have named him B.J. (short for Black Jack due to his coloring). He has become a precious part of our family in just a week. I took him to the vet on Thursday and he passed his health screen with flying colors ( the vet and the nurses loved him so much I was afraid they weren't going to let us come home with him).

I wanted to commend you on breeding such a healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppy. He is extremely smart and is already responding to training. He is going potty outside and rarely has an accident in the house anymore. Last night he slept all night in his crate without waking up for the first time. He has already made himself at home here.

He loves to be with the family, in fact right now he has curled up on my foot while I am at the computer. He is wonderful with the kids and follows them everywhere. His personality is already appearing and he is a very mischevious, playful little boy. I'm so glad t at we found you...I can see why you have so many repeat customers.
