Schnauzer Talk!

I had to rush Dottie to the Vet sunday morning she had been sick through earily sunday night got up sunday for Dottie to run into the garden and lose blood from her rear end, rushed her to the vet who put her on a IV drip.
She has Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis they have kept her in she has got a bit better from sunday but is not coming home yet, she has stopped beening sick but is still lose at the rear end but its an improvement .
I'm off tonight to vist her this might give her the that extra bit to make her well so i can bring her home, the house is so quite without her and the girls miss her so much so do I I never through I could miss a dog so much.

Oh gosh, I am so so sorry. I can't imagine what you are going through. I said a prayer for her quick recovery and will continue.
Going to visit her is a great idea. It will help you both. best of luck!!

Oh my goodness, I know totally how you feel. That is very similar to how Sparkle was only those few weeks back only she was vomitting the blood. Shes in the right place, they will soon have her up and running you'll see. Try not to worry, I know its hard and she will be all you are thinking about at the moment but she will be good as new when the drugs take effect. I'm sending positive vibes your ways (((hugs)))

Hello everyone I passed on all your hugs and kisses last night to her, when I saw her last night she was down, not her usual jumpyshelf very quite just wanted cuddles. She is on a cocktail of drugs four four times aday but looking a lot better.

All I can say is thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the hugs, kisses get well wishes and prayers as it had help the fantastic vets to get her back on her feet. Got a phone call today at 12.30pm to say she is a lot better no sick or blood, or runs and I can got collect her today, she will be still on the cocktail of drugs and special food and she have to go back on friday for a cheek up but i'm getting her home and I just can not wait.

Thank you all again for all your very kind posts, I picked her up yesterday she is still quite which is a bit unusal with her but when she got her home she picked up a bit she played with Molly for just about 1 min then collasped and went fast a sleep,

But I must say i was a bit dissapionted as she don't have Sparkling Lass great fastion moon boots only a half of one on one leg. Dottie you must try harder

What is is, 4/5 weeksish since she was poorly and they are no different!! we've had quite a bit of rain recently though, so you cant tell when her legs are wet ops

So glad Dottie is getting back to to normal, good girl

Off to the vet for cheek up tomorrow, she is nearly back to her old shelf but were they have left her with half a moon boot she is chewing it, I think she dos not like the sytle

I'm so glad she's better. It's so scary when they get sick. Tell her to not chew off her foot, she needs it. It tell Dyson this often.

Thank you everyone she is back to beening a little Monkey so she is neary 100% been told to be careful with her as she still might pick up something if its going around.
She finialy stopped pasting blood in her poo on wednesday last week.
