Toy Schnauzers are a "MUST HAVE"!!! Like the Toy Poodle, the toy schnauzer is on a long road to recognition. There are some breeders and persons without knowledge that claim that these are only "runts". This could be further from the truth. Runts are usually sickly and can have continual health problems. Why would someone in their right mind buy a puppy labeled a "runt"???? I've had as many as 4 toy sized puppies in a litter. Have you ever heard of having 4 runts in a litter? These were healthy puppies, not sickly runts.

What a lot of people don't understand, is that the Toy Schnauzer has been reoccurring in the breed since the toy breeds that made the Miniature Schnauzer were first introduced.

In recent years, the interest in the toy Schnauzer has been increaed and many breeders have popped up everywhere to produce the increased demand for toy Schnauzer puppies.

Even though the toy Schnauzer is not registered as such by the AKC, does not make them any less a Schnauzer.

The Toy Poodle had many many years of struggle until they were recognized with their own classification.

The term, "Toy Schnauzers, or teacup Schnauzers, or micro minis" are only titles used to help describe the adorable size of the smaller miniature Schnauzer.

It is true that AKC does not recognize a toy or teacup size in the Schnauzer breed, but they do however, register these little ones as Miniature Schnauzers.

It is "FALSE", if someone tells you that there is no such thing as a toy or teacup Schnauzer!!!
